Veneer refers to thin slices of wood, 0.7mm thick and sometimes bark that typically are glued onto core panels to produce flat panels such as doors, tops and panels for cabinets and parts of furniture. Unlike laminates, no two veneer sheets look the same. Veneer allows for efficient use of valuable timbers while maintaining a pleasing appearance.
